My stay at Ledgowan Bunkhouse was perfect for exploring the beautiful surrounding area. The staff was efficient and friendly, responding quickly to my emails and allowing a late check-in. The bunkhouse itself was clean and well-equipped, with a comfortable bed and a good shower. The kitchen had everything I needed and the place was nice and warm. I also enjoyed the convenience of being able to use the hotel bar next door and the free tea and coffee was a nice touch. it was a great value and a fantastic location for a mountain adventure.
Would recommend this hotel.

I recently stayed at a cozy and well-equipped bunkhouse in the beautiful Scottish countryside. The value for money was excellent and the room itself was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect for exploring the nearby hills and the staff were incredibly helpful and responsive.
Hotel breakfast could have been improved with a wider selection of options.

Spacious, clean, helpful staff, great outdoor activities, generous room sizes.
Can't think of anything.

The staff was amazing, especially the fella at the reception who was super friendly and helpful. the service during breakfast was excellent. the waitress at the bar went out of her way to organize a vegan salad for me, even though it wasn't on the menu. the chef also made me an awesome avocado salad. It was great to have such accommodating and helpful staff during my Christmas stay.
The accommodation itself was quite disappointing. the rooms had thin walls, and the noise from other guests easily seeped through.

Great value for money, clean with basic facilities. Beautiful setting, saw wild deer in the garden. Friendly and helpful staff. Good bar with a menu and breakfast available at an extra cost. On NC500 and perfect for outdoor activities.

The value for money at this bunkhouse was fantastic, with spotlessly clean rooms and all the basic facilities you need. The location was beautiful, close to the NC500 and perfect for hillwalking. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the bar and restaurant in the hotel served excellent food.
The only improvement I would suggest for breakfast items is to have more variety on the menu.

Great price and location for exploring the beautiful mountains. Free tea and coffee provided. Convenient access to the hotel bar nearby.
TV didn't work, knives were blunt, and the room was cold. Poor quality toilet paper and limited recycling options.

I had a great stay at a bunkhouse attached to a beautiful lodge. The room I stayed in was clean and comfortable, with a cozy bed and a washbasin. The bunkhouse also had a small dining room with a TV, as well as a well-equipped kitchen. The shared bathroom was clean and had a decent shower. Plus, there was ample car parking available. The location was perfect for easy access to Torridon and Glen Carron peaks.

The facilities at this bunkhouse were very good, providing all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The reception staff was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to assist me, even drying my wet clothes so I could continue my journey the next day. The location was absolutely beautiful, with stunning views and the sighting of wild red deer in the garden was an awesome experience.
One of the biggest frustrations I had during my stay was the lack of an electric point in my room, making it inconvenient to charge my mobile phone. The WiFi also had poor connectivity, but given the beautiful location, it was not a major concern.

I had a very pleasant stay at Ledgowan Bunkhouse. The single room I stayed in was cozy and warm, perfect for a good night's sleep. The WiFi worked great, allowing me to stay connected during my trip. The location was convenient for exploring Strathcarron and Kinlochewe Munro's. Additionally, it was just under an hour's drive to Skye, making it easy to visit. I would highly recommend this affordable accommodation for budget travelers.
Drawbacks: The only small drawback was that I needed to bring my own bedding. However, considering the affordable price, this was to be expected and didn't detract from my overall positive experience.

The value for money at this bunkhouse was great, considering the price we paid. The room was clean, functional, and comfortable for a good night's sleep. The location was lovely, with a deer grazing in the garden when we arrived. The staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.
The only thing that could have made the breakfast better was more variety in the offerings.
